Our client, a family with 3 children aged 6, 7 and 8, have a vacancy for a housekeeping couple on a green domain near Brussels in Belgium. This function can be done by a couple or by one person whose main task will be taking care of the kids and interior maintenance.
Live-In Domestic Couple
Duties include, but are not limited to:
There are several tasks to be divided on the estate:
- Collecting children from school and providing childcare (driver’s license needed)
- Preparing meals in the evening
- Household tasks such as cleaning, ironing,…
- Vehicle maintenance
- Carrying out various odd jobs in the buildings
- Maintenance of the garden and vegetable garden
- Picking up groceries
- Coordinating and supervising work on the property (for example painting or construction work)
Couple Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position is required
- Cooking and serving experience is required
- Be handy with chores in and around the house
- An extremely discreet and service-oriented work attitude
- Being able to work in the morning to serve breakfast and then after a longer break in the afternoon.
- Being able to work in the European Union
- Speak at least one of the following languages: English or French
