Head of Quality

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all quality assurance matters to ensure  legal, quality and food safety compliance
  • Implement and maintain the FSSC22000 certification and the FSMA food safety plan
  • Prepare, conduct and follow up on customer visits and audits to increase customer satisfaction
  • Lead the HACCP team and member of the internal audit teams
  • Main contact for inspections by food safety authorities (NVWA)
  • Steer the continuous improvement process and lead improvement projects
  • Develop KPI reporting for quality and food safety
  • Lead and develop the quality team

Key Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Industrial sciences, Bio-Engineering, Bio-Chemistry, Food Technology or experience in a similar position
  • Experience with food quality in a production environmen
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
